HeadLiceHotline.org is an informal group of volunteers who have already been through the nightmare of dealing with head lice.

We know what it's like to have bugs crawling in our hair and in our children's hair. We've washed loads and loads of laundry. We've vacuumed couches and chairs and carpets and cars.

We've picked nits until 2:00 am and felt like we were going to collapse from exhaustion.

We've spent hundreds of dollars on every kind of treatment under the sun.

We have been online doing research about head lice and nits and have been scratching our heads (literally!) trying to figure out the answer to the head lice problem.

We have all successfully won the battle and defeated the head lice enemy.

Having "been there and done that" we have decided to volunteer to help other people who are in this situation for the first time. We are here to listen. We're here to be a shoulder to cry on. We're here to help.
